These considerations include work location, job experience, and specific skills possessedJOB SUMMARY OF District Sales Executive:DSMs are tasked with the important role of fostering a culture of excellence within their team, promoting innovation and encouraging their District Sales Executive to exceed their individual goals. By providing support and encouragement, DSMs can improve the performance of their SCs and drive overall growthRESPONSIBILITIES OF District Sales Executive:• Guides and directs the professional development of Sales Consultants (MAs) under their purview.• Provides individualized support and direction via 3-5 SC work-withs carried out every week.• Use efficient leadership skills to facilitate Friday district meetings so that the team leaves motivated, educated and ready to drive sales.• Champion improved customer engagement by arming district SC with a range of service offerings including technology, value-added options, and collaborative selling• A persistent eagerness to enhance one's expertise in technology, sales strategies, interpersonal skills, and understanding of products is vital• Maximizes the consultation time of the SC by utilizing Sales Support resources and tools effectively• Productively utilizing our CRM is a crucial aspect of managing sales planning, prospecting, and daily interactions with customers at SC. To ensure maximum effectiveness, it is expected that all SC employees will become adept at utilizing Sysco 360.• Directly Manages Conversion Opportunities and Successfully Drives Sysco Brand Performance.• Backs and advances all nation-wide endeavors and promotional activities• The prime duty of the individual in this position is to deliver coaching, training, and timely feedback to promote the development of consultative selling skills among the sales associates as per the Sysco Way to Sell.• Utilizes the CMP and QPP Approaches to optimize the effectiveness of coaching activities for all sales colleagues in the district.• Tasked with developing and implementing effective plans for managing a specific region or territory• Places greater importance on developing independent connections with important customers and potentially lucrative leads.• Upholds the promotion of business projects and enacts centrally directed schemes implemented in the district.• Sales management comes with supplementary duties including operational responsibilities and managing customer interactions.QUALIFICATIONS OF District Sales Executive:• A high school degree is necessary for advancement.• A Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent professional experience is necessary to be considered for the role.• Shows evidence of successfully growing sales in the foodservice space for a minimum of 2 years.• A preference towards individuals with a minimum of 5 years of foodservice sales experience in the industry.Professional Skills of District Sales Executive:• Exceptional interpersonal competencies and dexterity in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.• The practice of asking questions and working together can provide an opportunity to gain insightful knowledge from others.• Exceptional ability in organizing and managing projects, capable of efficiently handling multiple tasks without assistance.• Adaptable to a demanding and high-energy professional environment.• Access Sysco's CRM software to strengthen your capacity for forecasting sales growth.• Demonstrates mastery in consultative sales techniques, marketing principles, prospecting methods, networking efforts, coaching skills, and negotiation strategies.• Provide associates with proper coaching, counseling, training, and direction.• Capable of managing and motivating personnel.• Write clear and concise emails to ensure swift and accurate communication within the team.• Obtain profitable growth by expanding business opportunities, penetrating existing accounts, and limiting any loss of business within the assigned area.• The goal is to locate and screen potential leads in accordance with the company's account stratification objectives.• Analyzing a customer's business requirements and designing a customized package of products and services to cater to their needs.• Assess the market trend and suggest products that will help attain the business goals and objectives of the customer.• Stay well-versed in market conditions and emerging product trends, and remain aware of your competitors' pricing, sales, and inventory data; use this information to provide value-added services to your customers.• Assist customers in finding and selecting products that meet their needs and requirements.• Train customer personnel on the installation and maintenance of the product, enabling them to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise.• Perform the tasks of liaising with clients and collecting accounts receivable as required, with the support of the credit department. Recover all due balances based on the terms and conditions approved.• Implement the transportation department's routing schedule to manage all deliveries.• Tackle any problems that may crop up with low inventory during the ordering process.• Be involved in company-sponsored events, advertising initiatives, customer excursions, and promotional activities.• Make sure you are present and involved in customary sales and area gatherings to stay connected and offer suggestions.• By examining daily and weekly reports, such as those related to special order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data, one can gain a better understanding of the company's financial performance.• Handle sales quotes and provide menu recommendations to assist customers in making informed purchases and increasing sales revenue.• Enroll in ongoing educational opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry trends.• Offer assistance to newly hired team members to help them get accustomed to their duties.The information provided for this job description is intended to give an overview of the type of tasks commonly performed by staff within this classification.
