Job DescriptionData AnalystLocation: Philadelphia, PA (downtown area) - HYBRID - Local candidatesContract: 6 monthsNo C2C, No H1BUS Citizen or Green CardThe Data Analyst will play a crucial role in mapping and documenting existing data systems and gathering, reviewing, cleaning, and preprocessing data from various sources. The role also involves creating comprehensive reports and visualizations to present data findings to stakeholders.Key Responsibilities• Gather data from various systems (databases, spreadsheets, external systems).• Review data for accuracy and completeness; identify inconsistencies and anomalies.• Clean data to eliminate duplicates, correct errors, and fill missing values.• Standardize data formats and prepare data for integration into a data lake.• Collaborate with department analysts/business owners and technical teams to understand data flows.• Create comprehensive data mapping documents, data review, and cleaning reports.• Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create interactive visual representations of data.Required Skills And Experience• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.• Live in/near Philadelphia, PA and able to work a hybrid schedule.Highly Desired Skills• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS S3.• Experience using Azure Data Factory and Python.• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.If you are passionate about data, have a strong analytical mindset, and are eager to contribute to an innovative data modernization project, we encourage you to apply.
