About the Opportunity:
DMI is looking for a Systems Administrator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining customizations to modules, scripts, triggers, and reports in RSA Archer. In addition, the candidate will also be responsible for user management, creating roles, assigning roles, setting permissions, and maintaining the software and server configuration according to WMATA standards and good industry practices.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the software and server configuration according to WMATA standards and good industry practices.
  • Perform upgrades, patches, and installations.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, technical leads, IT Infrastructure and Operation and Cyber-Security Enterprise Architecture, database administrators, and other WMATA stakeholders to expeditiously troubleshoot service failures.
  • RSA Archer Administration
  • Create and maintain appropriate monitoring procedures and reports.
  • Manage the product migration from development to production.
  • Provide clear, accurate communication regarding planned and unplanned service outages according to WMATA standards.
  • Create and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation regarding the system environment, standards, and procedures.
  • Develop or acquire reports and dashboards on system health; create and execute test plans related to systems health.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest components, upgrades, patches, and releases.
Qualifications:
Detailed Duties:
  • Application Server Setup and Maintenance
  • User Management and LDAP Integration
  • Maintain and update licenses for all the tools
  • Upgrade OS, Apply Windows security patches, Monitor server performance, storage space, resolve security vulnerabilities
  • Upgrade Applications, Apply application patches, fixpacks, resolve security vulnerabilities
  • Maintain and support databases – Oracle and SQL server • Install db patches, monitor space usage, resolve security vulnerabilities
  • Support interface between third party testing tools and QM module
  • Work with Teams to migrate their source code from other tools used • Assist users with installation and usage of the Jazz RTC Clients, Jazz Eclipse and Visual Studio Plugins
  • Perform Quarterly User Access Reconciliation
  • Train users how to store documents, link artifacts, code review and create baselines
  • Create and maintain custom Project Area and Project Templates when requested
  • Maintain and Modify Project Area Template
Education and Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining customizations to modules, scripts, triggers, and reports in RSA Archer.
  • 3+ years of experience in user management, creating roles, assigning roles, setting permissions, and maintaining the software and server configuration.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
  • Experience in upgrading OS, applying Windows security patches, monitoring server performance, storage space, and resolving security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience in installing db patches, monitoring space usage, and resolving security vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and SQL server.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to share information with peers and managers.
  • Proven Capacity in documenting work
  • Flexibility in job duties and ability to learn skills from fellow team members.
  • Ability to share knowledge & work cross functionally within own team & between teams.
