Summary: General Electric Company is looking for a team player that has a passion for learning Application, Systems administration, process improvement as a Systems Analyst Summer Intern to join our team in a remote capacity/and or in person capacity.
Internship dates: No earlier than May 23rd to No later than September 1st, 2023

Roles and Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Take on substantial tasks that will contribute to our existing codebase for various initiatives.
• Have daily interactions with Application Support Team, Technical Resources, and end-user groups
• Participate in Lean Daily Management calls for the review of Incident, Security Vulnerability, and other operational KPIs.
• Gain practical experience working as a professional Systems Analyst and Technical Product Manager, which includes non-technical skills such as communication, scrum and working as a team.
• Perform testing and verify that code is correctly released into our production system.
• Document business requirements and translate into technical requirements specifications

Requirements:

• Rising Sophomores/Junior pursuing Computer Science degree
• Computer software design pattern understanding.
• Unit testing and code scanning experience a plus.

Desired Characteristics

• Technology enthusiast. Passion/aptitude for both software and information technology. Up to date with current industry standards, trending software and information technology development tools.
• Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom. Extra initiatives/engagements in student organizations is a plus
• Communicative & open- minded. Good written and verbal communication skills
