Systems and Production Technical Program Manager

About this role:

We are looking for a highly organized, execution-oriented program manager to work with our product, business development, quality, operations, and engineering teams, as well as vendors and ODM/OEM contract manufacturers to build computational acceleration cards, nodes, and racks. This position requires awareness and understanding of the business and technical realities of the program, as well as the tenacity to follow up with contributors, ensuring everyone delivers according to plan.

Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:

Act as the central point of coordination and motivator for action for multiple teams, including product, business development, engineering (HW and SW), manufacturing, and customer applications support
Collaborate closely with product managers to define the roadmap for each product SKU
Comprehend technical requirements and formulate execution plans to deliver products with quality on tight schedules help engineering teams understand the requirements and scope of work needed
Develop and optimally communicate schedules, risks, and other program-related collateral to ensure timely delivery
Act as the "conscience" of the team by recording clear minutes, action items, decisions, and following up on results
Author reports and presentations for delivery to program partners
Develop positive relationships with cross-functional teams to enable parallel productivity
Maintain continuous alignment with partners through tenacious prioritization of goals and objectives
Communicate, and explain program updates to senior leadership

Ideal candidates have/are:

Led sophisticated, technical programs including combining silicon, hardware, and software results

Qualifications for this role:

At minimum:

Proven track record and desire to lead execution of cross-functional projects to correct and timely delivery
Success in managing vendor relationships and ODM/OEM contract manufacturers, holding them to account to ensure timely delivery
Proven collaboration, and negotiation skills with both engineering and business team members, holding team members accountable while guiding them toward success
Technically savvy with an understanding of multi-disciplinary products (silicon, systems, software)
Comes up to speed with new concepts quickly and can dive into topics deeply when vital
Knows the right questions to ask in order to get the information needed to move forward
Exercises sound judgment in developing program strategies and tactics
Integrity and willingness to pick themselves up and try again until they succeed
Must be comfortable with changing priorities, requirements
Anticipates and removes items blocking progress proactively

Highly valued, not required:

Knowledge of machine learning, neural networks, AI concepts
Experience with cloud computing
Fundamental understanding of functional programming concepts
Has delivered hardware systems and integrated solutions
Experience navigating and implementing government contracts for technical programs
Knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and operations
