Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

The Systems Engineer will primarily be responsible for maintaining on-premises and cloud applications, servers, storage, cloud computing platforms, and networking equipment. This position will also plan, install, configure, and support all aspects of IT infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective systems.

This position is expected to function effectively with limited supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state licensing regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, configure, deploy, and maintain applications, servers, storage, and network solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud;
  • Research and evaluate new hardware and software solutions;
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and provide root cause analysis of issues and incidents;
  • Proactively work to improve reliability, stability, and security of the cloud and on-premises environments;
  • Plan, install, configure, and support Windows Server, SQL, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure Active Directory;
  • Automate infrastructure management and maintenance with a focus on cloud-based solutions utilizing Infrastructure as Code best practices;
  • Ensure solutions conform to current and future security regulations and compliance (PCI, HIPAA);
  • Participate in weekend maintenance windows, after hour support calls, and be a part of an On-Call schedule;
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field of study from an accredited university;
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of prior relevant experience;
  • Azure certifications, preferred;
  • Proven work experience as a Systems, Cloud, or Server Administrator, preferred;
  • Experience designing, developing, modifying, and troubleshooting complex Information Technology systems;
  • Experience preferred with Microsoft servers and cloud infrastructure, Aruba, HPE, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, VMWare, and other vendors;
  • Experience with Database, OS, Identity & Access and network management;
  • Detailed knowledge of modern operating systems, setup, deployment, and maintenance;
  • Ability to script in PowerShell or another scripting language to automate processes;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work with remote branches that are not technical;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information;
  • Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions;
  • Active motor vehicle license and maintain a reliable vehicle with adequate insurance coverage;
  • Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;
  • Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commitment.

Salary disclosure for residents of Colorado, Washington, California & NYC: ($55,380-$70,600) base rate plus a 0-10% differential for CO and WA, 1-25% for CA and a 20% for NYC*
*Note: Bethany’s compensation plan accounts for geographical differentials
