Enel X, a leading provider of Demand Response and Battery Storage Systems, has an immediate need for a DER Systems Engineering intern to join our world-class Global Operations team.
This is a highly visible role where you will learn about our energy storage systems by working closely with our Systems Engineers to remotely operate and maintain these distributed systems through their web and command line interfaces.
What You'll Do at Enel::
Responsibilities, include, but not limited to:

Perform daily system health checks in our remote monitoring applications, and correct or escalate system performance issues

Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools

Create and maintain support tickets for system related issues

Write and maintain custom scripts and tools to increase system efficiency like creating reports, data processing and system monitoring and alerting tools
-
Work with Engineering/IT teams to resolve system issues

Leverage agile/scrum techniques to support a Continuous Improvement culture
-
Create process documentation and train others
-
Develop and evolve operational procedures, KPI’s and other key network measurement benchmarks.

Create incident reports summarizing issues seen in systems
What You've Accomplished::
- Electrical and/or Software Engineering experience
