DescriptionThe Director, Sales Operations will be a key member of the GIBU Leadership Team, responsible for driving commercial excellence within the GIBU. This role involves overseeing GIBU strategic priorities, providing operational oversight, and enhancing capabilities that contribute to business performance, operational excellence, and culture. You will work in a collaborative environment that values innovation and growth, making a meaningful impact on the organization and its goals.Skills• Strong strategic leadership capabilities• Excellent stakeholder relationship-building skills• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions• Knowledge of key payor and government/advocacy trends• Proven success in creating and executing initiatives/programs• Strong coaching, delegation, and team motivation skills• Familiarity with key pharmaceutical systems and processes (e.g., Incentive Comp plans, CRM)Responsibilities• Oversee the development and deployment of GIBU sales excellence capabilities• Lead a team focused on business process improvements within the GIBU• Manage field sales reporting and operational excellence• Define new KPIs aligned with current engagement frameworks• Accountable for SFE Leads and future engagement models for field teams• Oversee strategy, planning, and execution of GIBU-wide events• Partner with Communications to align culture and people initiatives• Lead key GIBU initiatives, including work plans, budgets, and risk mitigation• Manage the budget for the GIBU franchise and function teams• Provide sales support to the Head of the GIBU team• Analyze information from Analytics and Insights teams to develop actionable plans• Identify strengths and developmental opportunities for team members• Provide ongoing coaching and performance managementQualifications• Bachelor’s degree required• 10 years of pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or related experience• Minimum of 5 years of management-level experience• Demonstrated strategic leadership and collaboration skills• Knowledge of key payor and government/advocacy trends• Proven ability to coach and motivate a teamEducation Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldEducation Requirements Credential Category• Bachelor’s degreeExperience Requirements• 10+ years of experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry• 5+ years of management-level experience• Experience in project management and leadership roles• Pharmaceutical launch experience preferred• Experience with sales force sizing and alignmentWhy work in Harrisburg, PAHarrisburg, PA, offers a rich history combined with a vibrant community atmosphere.
