Talent Acquisition Consultant

The Talent Acquisition Consultant Hybrid will assist with a variety of key components of the TA function to support the hiring of top talent. This role will manage the union seniority process and be Talent Acquisition's subject matter expert on recruiting union processes. This role will help support the hiring process by assisting with key components of the recruitment process including: creating position #'s for requisitions to be entered into the ATS, adjusting offer letters that have a start date change, assist with the offer process and be a float for the team when volumes spike in certain areas. This role will also have a req load that they will manage.

This role is remote and may have the occasional need to attend on-site meetings. This role reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition. One day a month will be needed to come in office. Experience with Union relations is a requirement.

Seniority Process -35%

  • Coordinate the internal union recruitment process, including, screening applicants, processing seniority of internal bidders and extending and processing internal union offers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to hiring leaders and candidates.
  • Act as the Talent Acquisition lead for all unions by attending HR union meetings, documenting union Talent Acquisition processes and training of Talent staff on union updates.

Recruitment-35%

  • Understand business unit dynamics to anticipate future needs
  • Evaluate each candidate for qualifications, requirements and key success factors to ensure successful placement
  • Support stakeholders with proper tools, resources and consultative approach to ensure a successful recruitment process.
  • Meets with managers to develop specific recruitment plans to ensure recruitment of qualified candidates.
  • Collaborates with Business Partners on customer group needs.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leader on recruiting strategy development.
  • Subject matter expert on recruitment trends, resources, processes and tools
  • Source passive candidates through research, relationship building, attending of career fairs, complex internet searches and building relationships with schools.

Talent Acquisition Recruitment Support 30%

  • Process all position # creation/change requests ensuring appropriate position details are captured in postings.
  • Process all start date changes in Taleo generating a new offer letter and follow up with key stakeholders to ensure a timely start date.
  • Assist with extending and processing offers when there is an influx to support efficient hiring.
  • Act as float to support areas that have an increase in volume.
  • Recruitment projects as assigned
