Join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This person will drive the growth of our organization through tactical and creative sourcing efforts, and military and campus recruitment. The ideal candidate will be energetic and self-sufficient, possessing the drive to accelerate Worthington’s recruitment efforts to align with our continued growth and industry leadership. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will assist the entire recruitment process from beginning to end and support business locations by building and fostering partnerships with business leaders and community partners. This role is responsible for nurturing relationships both with the managers and prospective talent, as well as assisting with other Talent Acquisition functions.

Responsibilities
  • Work with Business Leaders, HR Partners, Recruiters and Campus Representatives to create a plan for our campus and military recruiting including time commitment, resources and targeted disciplines
  • Develops and maintain strong professional relationships with colleges, universities, military agencies, community partners and professional associations as a source to generate candidate pipelines
  • Build relationships with community partners, building pathways to industry (including veteran resources, restored citizen networks, k-12 programs, etc.)
  • Coordinates and attends recruiting events and assists with prescreening applicant resumes and coordinating onsite interviews
  • Ensure on-campus employment branding is effective and aligned with company standards
  • Post job openings and advertisements on job boards, websites, and other online sources as well as monitor sites for activity
  • Assist with full life cycle recruiting responsibilities to include create and manage job postings, research and source candidates, review resumes, conduct applicant interviews/screenings, schedule interviews for hiring managers, provide candidate summary to hiring manager, and provide a seamless transition to hiring team.
  • Manage and analyze candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and serve as the ATS subject matter expert
  • Develop innovative and creative ways to attract the best and brightest diverse candidates and increase our competitive advantage
  • Manage various HR programs (Internship Program, Co-Ops, Manufacturing Day, etc.)
Desired Experience
  • 1-2 years of prior working experience in the Human Resources, Recruiting or related field(s)
  • Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes
  • An entrepreneurial, solutions oriented and results-driven attitude, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships, effectively communicate and present information across the organization and with community partners
  • Ability to execute the recruiting and selection process to ensure quality hires and timely filling of open positions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team environment
  • Experience using ATS preferred
  • Travel expectation: Up to 50%
