Provides talent acquisition support to St. Luke's Hospital for professional, clinical, technical and support positions. Assists in the development and implementation of talent acquisition policies and procedures. Works with internal and external groups to source and attract candidates for open positions. Is able to work independently, using own judgment and initiative to determine appropriate action in both routine and non-routine situations. Ensures that St. Luke's values are reflected in all of its operations.
Principle Accountabilities: % of Time Spent
1. Recruit, screen, interview, reference, and place new employees. Always aware of department's recruiting needs. Build partnerships with hiring managers. Create and maintain innovative means of sourcing new applicants. Responsible for verifying accuracy on requisitions prior to posting. After determining fair and equitable salary, makes job offers to successful candidates and initiate onboarding. Inform those applicants not selected for positions. Serves as consultant to hiring managers on hiring decisions. May also facilitate the new hire process. (50%)
2. Works closely with schools, colleges and universities, and area training facilities to form relationships with staff and students in order to promote St. Luke's as an employer of choice, including career fairs and special events. Works to facilitate programs and other outreach opportunities with areas schools and training programs. (20%)
3. Acts as a resource for employees and managers on talent acquisition policies, procedures, and processes. Acts as resource and liaison for employees regarding transfers and promotional opportunities. Acts as resource to managers regarding internal transfers. (5%)
4. Serves as a liaison between Human Resources and managers to communicate market changes and identify needed market or equity adjustment reviews. (5%)
5. As part of the Talent Acquisition Team, shares the responsibility for developing the annual recruitment budget and monitoring expenses on an ongoing basis. Reviews cost effectiveness of various recruiting methods on an ongoing basis. (2%)
6. As part of the Talent Acquisition Team, shares the responsibility for conducting recruitment related presentations for New Employee Orientation, New Leadership Orientation and iCIMS Training. (3%)
7. Serves on Human Resources and organizational committees and projects as needed. (2%)
8. Provides data and support as needed to ensure departmental metrics are accurate and timely. (3%)
9. Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines and laws, along with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). (3%)
10. Leads and supports special projects as needed. (2%)
11. Meet and maintain talent acquisition metric standards. (5%)

Education:
Bachelor's degree required with the major field of concentration in Human Resources or a related required.
Experience:
Previous talent acquisition experience required. Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications preferred. Experience with iCIMS applicant tracking strongly preferred. Must have excellent written, oral, and human relations skills, attention to detail and follow through, and the ability to handle confidential information. Must be capable of dealing effectively with people from varying socio-economic backgrounds and have the ability to relate to managerial and professional personnel. Requires ability to plan, organize, multi task, and lead recruitment related activities on a hospital-wide basis.
