THE POSITION:

FanDuel is looking for a Director, Talent and Development to drive our talent and development function. You will play a key role on the Human Resources team to develop and implement initiatives in areas including onboarding, performance management, talent management, and employee engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow and build programs that will impact the experience of our 3,000+ employees at FanDuel, both in the U.S. and internationally.


THE GAME PLAN:


Everyone on our team has a part to play


  • Strategic leadership and oversight into the execution of our many talent and development programs, including onboarding, performance management, talent management, and employee engagement and recognition
  • Effectively execute on our talent strategy including performance management, individual, team and leadership development, career paths and succession planning, and readiness to address current and future business needs
  • Drive execution of the Talent Management strategy, integrating best practices / trends and performing analysis on effectiveness of our process and programs
  • Design effective engagement strategies based on company survey results and in partnership with our business leaders and HR partners
  • Create plans focused on the communication, implementation, and stakeholder engagement for our programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including designers, HRIS experts, vendors, and facilitators on the ongoing management and execution of our programs
  • Manage the complexities of our programs with a focus on continual improvement
  • Use data and perform ongoing evaluation of program impacts to keep stakeholders informed and guide future design and improvements
  • Passionate about creating an inclusive culture that enables employees to be the best version of themselves
  • Think multiple steps ahead, prepare for potential problems and escalate issues when appropriate, and juggle competing deadlines effectively
  • Present key metrics and findings around employees and engagement to senior stakeholders across the company
  • Manage a team of talent and development professionals
  • Other duties may be assigned to fulfill FanDuel Group objectives


THE STATS:


What we're looking for in our next teammate


  • Minimum of 8 years experience working in talent and development with extensive experience with talent management, performance management, and employee experience strategy and delivery, including managing day-to-day program design, implementation, and communications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience managing a team
  • Ability to build from the ground up as part of a relatively new function and team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with talent management and performance management philosophies and trends
  • Experience consulting with internal stakeholders regarding talent and development programs and initiatives
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and manage change in a fast paced, dynamic, and high-growth organization
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

The applicable salary range for this position is $144,000 to $198,000 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
