The Talent Development Manager - Digital will be responsible to develop, operationalize, and execute Under Armour’s Digital Transformation Learning and Development strategy as well as support functional training. This individual will be the lead thought partner in the development of solutions as it relates to our four levels of learning to Employ, Deliver, Drive and Lead digital. This role will assess strategic learning needs and consult with our digital and technical business leaders for alignment and development of programs to foster a learning culture in support of UA’s business objectives. This person will be the primary liaison for digital/technical business skills training in support of teammate functional development. The role will be accountable for the design, development, deployment, and measurement of these programs and courses by identifying key metrics to ensure ROI on digital development initiatives. This role will also provide support to key functions in terms of building functional/technical capability. This is a fast-paced role and requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate would be agile, highly collaborative, and able to drive business outcomes with a learner-centric mindset.

Develops, evaluates, and implements a global digital/technical learning & development (L&D) strategy to meet current business needs and to prepare the digital/technical workforce for current and future work

Identify technical/digital training needs using a data-driven approach by consulting with stakeholders, conducting needs assessments, and analyzing workforce plans to identify capability gaps based on current and future needs

Lead and coordinate the global delivery of UA’s digital learning strategy

Partners with digital/technical leaders and other key stakeholders to identify capability and critical skill requirements

Collaborate with Talent Development L&D colleagues to align on learning integration opportunities

Work with identified vendor(s) to create learning paths for digital/technical areas by required skill level

Co-create and facilitate blended learning content

Lead efforts to drive the development of senior leader digital literacy and capability to support the digital transformation

Identify and manage vendor relationships and manage resources including working with internal teammates and external partners to develop and deliver training (i.e., IT & HR or external facilitators)

Manage the quality of program/content design and delivery while ensuring a measurement strategy is in place to assess the effectiveness of the vendor curriculum

Develop and/or deliver training solutions that meet business needs as required

Optimize training processes for efficiency and staying within budget

Serve as consultant to the business for assigned functional areas to support the development of technical skills

Manage the technologies and collaborate with the personnel required to develop, manage and deliver training

Partner with HR Ops to manage training within LMS to ensure teammate and vendor accountability

Other duties as assigned to support talent development learning & development objectives and HR initiatives

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Organization Development or related discipline

At least 4+ years of experience in a corporate training function

Prior experience designing, delivering, and measuring training for a multicultural global workforce in technology, enterprise data management, and/or omni-channel marketing required

Strong knowledge of training principles, methodologies (e.g., ADDIE), and adult learning theory with evidence of creative instructional design skills for a virtual workforce

Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD

Return to Work Designation: Two (2) days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote at home

Experience in course development software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) a plus

Visual design skills (e.g., Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a plus

Knowledge and experience with different assessments such as MBTI or DiSC a plus

Organizational development and team-building skills a plus

Experience supporting technical and functional training preferred

Base salary range: $98,514.00 - $135,457.30 USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual’s relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
