WE LOVE OUR WORK.:
  • Creates and designs high-quality, engaging, and effective development content that supports the Company’s talent development programs, projects, and initiatives.
  • Manages the technical content of learning and talent development projects to ensure all content is properly designed and executed according to due dates. This includes, but is not limited to creation of content, training of administrator and end users, troubleshooting to resolve technical issues, etc.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert on technical creation and development of all learning and talent development content.
  • Provides technical expertise to ensure successful launch of content through the Company’s LMS, virtual classroom, and other related delivery platforms.
  • Identifies and utilizes a variety of innovative methodologies, modalities, platforms, and tools to create talent development content.
  • Facilitates virtual instructor-led development opportunities.
  • Collaborates with cross-function teams to develop innovative learning solutions aligned with Company and talent development initiatives.
  • Participates in work groups, committees, and special projects as needed.
  • Provides instructional design guidance to subject matter experts throughout all phases of the design process.
  • Ensures learning and talent development content and programs are aligned with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and goals.
  • Identifies data collection tools, sources, benchmarks, and performance targets.
  • Conducts ongoing talent development needs-assessment through performance data, surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
  • Reviews and evaluates existing learning and talent development programs. Makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Researches industry trends and sources innovative solutions that contribute to the growth and innovation of talent development initiatives and programs.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Assists in the budget process for the department and provides recommendations ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives, and reports budget concerns to manager.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field from a four-year college or university; or three to four years of applicable experience in instructional design and facilitating content; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have strong communication (both verbal and written), organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have excellent project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Must have experience in adult learning theory.
  • Must have technical proficiency, strong knowledge, and expertise in instructional design tools and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Must have strong facilitation skills, able to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Ability to interact with guests, team members, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Responsible for staff development and training programs.
  • Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees regarding performance.
  • Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning, and directing work) to meet business needs.
  • Manages work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).
