The Role
Our sales function is growing , and we’re looking for a relationship focused sales professional to capitalise on the changing recruitment and staffing market. This individual should have a strong network in the recruitment industry, with a particular focus on Talent Leaders in the tech sector. This individual should be a natural networking, thrive in in-person meetings, pitches and events, with a charismatic approach to building relationships with key leaders in the space.
This person will partner with our VP Sales, and wider Senior and Executive leadership teams to establish new partnerships with some of the best known tech companies in the world.
What will you do around here?
You will be responsible for…
Identifying and prospecting high-quality sales leads, with a focus on tier 1 and 2 customers
Managing the full sales cycle with a consultative approach, including bidding through RFPs and pitching to businesses, with a particular focus on Enterprise clients
Overcoming objections from Senior HR & Talent stakeholders, negotiating strong terms in the process.
Closing Enterprise deals of over $1m ACV, with an average deal cycle of 3 to 9 months
Building long-lasting relationships through in-person events and meetings, in collaboration with our wider community
Collaborating with the broader marketing function to follow up on MQLs, ensuring a smooth customer lifecycle
Maintaining a high standard of data cleanliness, ensuring accurate reporting

Are a true relationship builder, with an existing network within the Talent Acquisition space
Have a hunter mentality, with the goal of creating your own pipeline
Have a demonstrable history of hitting and exceeding sales targets
Thrive in outbound sales environments and have a history of high output
Have a history of prospecting and closing deals within the HR and Recruiting space
Have 7+ years of sales experience
Have 2+ years of experience working within HR tech, recruitment, or RPO
Nice to haves:
Experience with Hubspot
Experience with SPICED or MEDDIC sales methodologies
The cash compensation range we have provided has been benchmarked against similar organizations of a comparable size, sector and age. Our offers of employment take a variety of factors into consideration, including but not limited to, unique skill sets, specific expertise or certifications and business/organizational needs. We have not adjusted the range for differing geographical locations, which we take into consideration when building equitable offers. It is not typical for us to hire in talent at the top of the range for a role, in part because it’s so important to us to allow all Talentful employees the opportunity to develop over time, and to feel rewarded for doing so. A reasonable estimate of the OTE range for this role is 200-350k USD.
