In 2023, we acquired HIGHER, a thriving community of senior talent executives. HIGHER offers a platform for thought leadership, networking, and shared insights through a dynamic Slack community, exclusive events, awards, and industry content.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Community (USA) to build and strengthen relationships between Talentful and the HIGHER community. This is a strategic role, where you’ll serve as both a connector and advisor to senior Talent Acquisition (TA) leaders within the community. You’ll be responsible for growing the community’s influence, nurturing relationships, and driving initiatives that add value to members while supporting Talentful’s growth objectives. Your deep expertise in TA will make you a trusted thought leader and resource to these executives, who are looking for guidance and insights from an industry peer.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Growth: Proactively engage senior Talent Acquisition executives from Tier 1 organizations, inviting them to join the HIGHER community and cultivating a sense of belonging.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with community members, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and go-to resource for strategic TA guidance.
TA Thought Leadership: Leverage your expertise to guide community members, providing insights on trends, challenges, and best practices. Facilitate roundtables, one-on-one sessions, and serve as a mentor to foster a collaborative learning environment.
Content Leadership: Create engaging TA leadership content, including whitepapers, social media posts, and industry reports, that reinforces HIGHER’s value and elevates its presence in the industry. Develop insights and thought-provoking content that resonates with the community and positions Talentful as a leader in TA.
Event Leadership: Attend, host, and speak at HIGHER events, contributing as a thought leader to drive impactful discussions that establish Talentful as the preferred partner in Talent Acquisition.
Revenue Contribution: Drive growth by identifying community members who would benefit from Talentful’s services, aligning with their needs and goals while subtly supporting Talentful’s business objectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition leader with a high level of expertise in the TA space, capable of advising senior executives on strategic TA topics.
A strong network within the Talent Acquisition community, particularly among Tier 1 organizations, with the ability to engage and earn trust from senior leaders.
Demonstrated success in community building, partnership development, or sales, with a track record of converting relationships into mutual success.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience in hosting or participating in industry events and leading strategic discussions.
Empathetic, strategic approach, with the ability to offer guidance on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities to fellow TA leaders.
Proactive, self-starter attitude, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
