Senior Systems Administrator

As a remote-first and cloud-native organization, Talkiatry relies entirely on SaaS infrastructure to operate effectively. The Enterprise infrastructure team is responsible for maintaining and growing this SaaS infrastructure to power our mission. We are a small team with tremendous responsibility, so each new member has both a significant impact on our corporate culture and the opportunity to develop career-defining skills.  

In this role, you will guide the overall infrastructure roadmap from paper to reality. Your days will be a mix of planning meetings, projects to either implement or customize infrastructure applications, and assisting/mentoring our Service Desk team on new concepts and difficult issues. Since we are in the critical transitional phase moving from startup to true corporate architecture, you will need to be prepared for and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. That said, we also embrace and encourage both personal and professional growth – your time on the Enterprise Infrastructure team will provide opportunities to lead major projects, interact with other members of the organization (all the way to the top), and allocate time during the week for research and learning.

• Management of the core Microsoft 365 environment and Entra identity architecture 
• Development, maintenance, and troubleshooting within our core SaaS application stack – this includes Microsoft 365, Mosyle, NinjaRMM, Service Now, Genesys, 8x8, Cloudflare, Azure, AWS, Proofpoint, Mailgun/Twilio, Crowdstrike, and others. 
• Develop and refine policy and procedure documentation both for internal and end user distribution 
• Meet with core members throughout the organization to plan projects, provide training, discuss improvements, etc. 
• Management of corporate devices via our MDM platforms (Intune for Windows, Mosyle for Apple, NinjaRMM for remote monitoring and access) 
• Developing/scripting custom solutions and automations throughout the organization 
• Bundling and deploying applications to user workstations via MDM 
• Administrate ServiceNow and overseeing its growth within the IT team 

• A four-year college degree preferably related to IT or Computer Science OR a minimum three years of progressive and demonstrable experience in an Administrator/Engineer role (Systems, SaaS, Device, Server, etc.) 
• Previous demonstrated use/administration of the Microsoft 365 environment especially in the following areas: Exchange Online, Entra, Teams, SharePoint, and Defender 
• Experience with at least one of the following scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python (if you have a public repo we can review, send a link!) 
• Extensive experience as a Service Now administrator – especially workflows and the HCLS module (if you have a Service Now certification, make sure to include that in your application as this is highly desired!) 
• Understanding of core user security mechanisms like certificates, MFA, conditional access, user risk assessment, etc. 
• Experience managing devices via an MDM system (we use Intune, Mosyle, and NinjaRMM)
