About the Role 

We are looking for Full-Stack Engineers to join our growing Platform team who thrive in a collaborative environment and have experience in designing, architecting, and executing systems from scratch. In this role, you will work closely with Product teams to ideate, build, and iterate on features that have real-world impact. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Tangelo’s systems, and by extension, the members we serge.

Full-Stack Engineers Will

• Report to the VP of Engineering.

• Collaborate with Product Managers on system designs. 

• Design, architect, and build out scalable solutions. 

• Ensure integration with healthcare claims, revenue cycle management, and logistics systems, working within a highly regulated space.

• Ship and test your own code. 

• Engage with junior engineers and provide mentorship.

• Work in step with our offshore team.

• Participate in long-term planning. 

About You

• Professional Tenure: 5-7 years of experience building on complex systems; experience in healthcare, claims, revenue cycle management, or logistics is a significant plus. 

• Systems Architect: You have experience designing and architecting systems from scratch and can see the full picture when it comes to technical solutions.

• Solutions-Oriented: You are capable of taking abstract problems, breaking them down, and designing and executing a solution.

• Cross-Functional Collaborator: You understand the relationship between product and engineering and have strong opinions on how to get to the "right" solution that benefits both sides.

• Growth-Minded: You have experience working at a growing company (Series A or B preferred), where engineers have a seat at the table and influence platform decisions.

• Technical Flexibility: While the specific tech stack isn’t as important, we’re looking for someone who can understand and adapt to various languages and frameworks beyond just SQL and Java. Experience working with legacy data systems (like 90s relational databases) and transforming them into modern solutions is a plus.

• Mentor: You’ve either worked as a mentor to junior engineers or are excited to start, fostering growth and development within the team.
