Launched in 2019, Taptap is tapping into a transformative shift in global finance: from banks to phones. While this has affected wealthier countries as well, it has been nothing short of a revolution for the emerging markets where the overwhelming majority of population had been unable to access digital finance previously. Taptap Send allows immigrants to send money home instantly and with no fee*, saving money in the process. With a formal market size of >700B alone, we’ve got a lot more saving to do for our users. Role
Taptap Send relies on hiring the best people to achieve our goals, as a Recruiter, you are a core enabler - you will play a crucial role in our growth and success.
As a central resource, you’ll get the opportunity to work with stakeholders across the company, across the world, filling roles from mid-level right up to Tappers reporting to CEO. You will own the entire lifecycle from kicking off a role to closing, and be seen as the recruiting expert; partnering with hiring managers to drive, refine, and constantly improve hiring processes - upskilling your hiring managers throughout.
London / Manchester (UK) or Dubai (UAE) are preferred however, we have a remote first policy so any locations on same / similar timezones are fine
Responsibilities
Using our recruitment tooling to source, attract, select and onboard new Tappers
Effectively kick off a role; calibrate with hiring manager needs, get interview loop on board with signals and ‘what good looks like’, and get candidates into interview process quickly after kick off
Put together sourcing strategies per role to get the very best calibre of candidates into interview process -- biasing to headhunting / proactive sourcing vs job board hunting / waiting for inbound
Define and maintain SLAs / KPIs on; speed of process, quality of grading, volume of candidates in pipeline
Manage the entire process start to finish; find them, chaperone through the interview stages, get them hired
Own the candidate experience ensuring you deliver the gold standard, including; understanding their needs / desires, is this the right role for them, how do we create an environment (and interview process) for this person to be successful, provide feedback should they not be successful etc.
Be seen as a bar raiser, holding high standards on grading quality, interview quality, process speed - ultimately, hiring excellence
Requirements
Either; started life in external agency environment or a foundational understanding of fast pace, high quality proactive sourcing
Been through at least 1 startup / scale up; ideally Series A - D
Recruited and closed A+ level talent
Understands taking a data-first approach to recruiting and/or wants to refine / improve their analytical approach to recruiting
No wall too high / no task too small mentality
Resilience; not fazed by changing priorities, or having to change direction
Ability to hold stakeholders accountable, influence and defend decisions, and convincingly articulate process changes and why it matters
Whether you have 2 years or 20 years experience, it doesn’t matter - we’re looking for people that care, are motivated to get the job done, and want to be recognised for this
