Are you a natural leader with a passion for retail and a drive for success? Target is looking for a Closing Team Leader to join our team and help us achieve our goals. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our store during closing hours, ensuring that our guests have a seamless shopping experience. Our ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, has excellent communication skills, and is able to motivate and guide a team towards achieving our sales and service targets. If you are a dedicated and results-driven individual with a proven track record of leadership, we want to hear from you!


  1. Oversee the daily operations of the store during closing hours to ensure a smooth and efficient closing process.
  2. Ensure that all closing procedures are followed, including cash handling and security protocols.
  3. Motivate and guide team members towards achieving sales and service targets.
  4. Train and develop team members to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and productivity.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and other store leaders to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.
  7. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.
  8. Handle any guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  9. Manage inventory and stock levels to ensure products are available for guests during closing hours.
  10. Maintain a high level of visual merchandising standards throughout the store.
  11. Collaborate with other store leaders to implement and execute company initiatives and promotions.
  12. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  13. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  14. Handle scheduling and labor management to ensure appropriate coverage during closing hours.
  15. Continuously strive to improve store operations and contribute to the overall success of the store.
