Summary:
Performs day-to-day Tax Administrative functions for the entire Tax Department (US/India)
Core Responsibilities:

Assembly of returns and extensions using SafeSend Returns or printing and mailing

Drafts and finalizes engagement letters, which includes editing, formatting, and delivering via RightSignature
-
Filing final copy returns in Engagement

Distributes XCM due date report
-
Requesting new client/engagements codes in PP365 CRM
-
Prepares and delivers certified mail to post office and saves receipt copy in engagement
-
Releases tax returns/extension via electronic e-filing system and save acceptances/rejections in Engagement
-
Scanning of client source docs, this includes emailing scanned copies to engagement manager
-
Completes monthly billing functions – includes worksheet distribution, drafting invoices and delivering to client

Accounts Receivable review and collections

Delivery of client organizers via paper or SafeSend Organizer

Generating CCH DataScan reports of client specific information
-
People training in house/onboarding
-
Monitors tax return / projects for XCM tracking system
-
Assist in ongoing maintenance/cleanup of PP 365 and XCM tracking system

Assists in the development and implementation of Tax department systems and procedures as needed

Assist with vetting and implementing different tax software’s, programs, and applications

General clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing

Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
Nonessential Functions:
Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by Seniors, Managers, Directors, and Partners.
