One of the largest global marketing and advertising agency networks in the world is looking for a US Tax Manager to grow and develop within their US Tax Department and provide support as they go through a reorganization of the business.
This role will report to the Americas Tax Director and be responsible for managing all tax reporting, assisting in M&A activities, and enhancing current tax policies and procedures as the group continues to evolve and change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Federal tax reporting
- Handle a variety of projects including managing compliance within the Group Tax Policies and make risk management decisions accordingly
- Provide M&A knowledge and support to the Americas Tax Director and work with different Business Units
- Manage US reorganizations in the Tax group to help manage transactions in an efficient way
- Prepare the year end tax provisioning forms, working with Tax personnel in the UK and external financial statement auditors
- Utilize technology to analyze efficiencies and technical accuracies within the department and develop models based on that data
- Support the US business in dealing with tax notices, communicating with the IRS, working on residency certificates and other ad hoc initiatives
Key Requirements:
- Possesses Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 5 years of corporate income tax experience in the media/advertising industry and/or public accounting
- Needs to have income tax provisioning experience in a large, complex global organization
- CPA is preferred
- Big 4 Experience is preferred but not required
- Possesses strong technical accounting, auditing and analytical skills
- Is a commercially focused and detailed project manager who can work independently in a demanding, fast-paced change-oriented environment
- Has strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and can work cross-functionally with various teams and stakeholders at multiple levels of the business
- Possesses IT abilities related to using Excel
