Our Services to the Firm department supports the internal and external efforts of our partners, our department staff and clients. We are looking for an additional person with strong interpersonal skills and positive work ethic to work in our administrative services team. This is an amazing opportunity to put your experience, attention to detail, and pride in producing the best results to work, while working with various members of our specialized, professional service staff in our Palo Alto office.
Responsibilities:
Tax Practice Support:

Effectively and flawlessly complete tax return assembly for individuals, corporations, fiduciary and partnership returns

Develop an in-depth understanding of all applicable client types and corresponding assembly

Understand tax department workflow, deadlines and key initiatives

Assist partners and tax team with engagement letters- preparation, mass mail merges, and tracking

Process and track extended returns and roll them to the next applicable deadline

Monitor processing mailboxes to prioritize and process incoming work-flow in a timely manner.

Assist with administrative duties, including but not limited to filing, copying, scanning, archiving and dropping off mail/packages, etc.

Willing to work overtime and weekends during the weeks leading up to major tax deadlines
Qualifications:
- Please note this position will go into the Palo Alto office every (week)day

Extensive technical knowledge within and application of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe softwares.

Strong oral, written and listening communication skills.
- Communicate in a professional manner at all levels and with all audiences with a sense of urgency.

Understand and adhere to organizational, practice department, and legal policies for quality, risk mitigation, confidentiality, and data privacy.

Exceptional customer service, multitasking and organizational skills.

Excellent time management skills, able to adhere to deadlines and prioritize accordingly.

Must be able to lift boxes up to 25lbs.
The hourly pay range for this position is 27.00 - 35.00 per hour, plus overtime.
