As the Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) Coach, you will provide intensive, short-term individual behavioral coaching to clients placed in RCL 12 and RCL 14 homes, group homes throughout Southern California, foster homes, and family homes according to the milestones from the client’s treatment service plan.

Responsibilities:
Utilize approved behavioral interventions developed in collaboration with the treatment team and TBS Coordinator
Provide for and complete the TBS Assessment and Client Service Plan Addendum with the client, regular caregiver, therapist and significant others, based upon the identification of behavioral problems and treatment goals
Complete client progress notes in a timely manner for each day of service according to Medi-Cal guidelines and standards
Attend regular group consultation meetings and trainings
Meet with the client’s individual therapist or case manager on a regular basis
Prepare progress notes for meeting with individual therapist or case manager, wraparound team and other clinicians involved in the care of the client
Prepare required documentation in accordance to State, County, and Agency Medi-Cal guidelines and standards and consistent with the client’s treatment service plan
Assist the client’s regular caregivers in learning, utilizing and integrating effective behavioral interventions throughout their daily routine.
Travel throughout Southern California as needed in order to provide services consistent with the client service plan to Orange County Medi-Cal clients in out-of-county placements
Qualifications:
REQUIRED
Experience/education requirements:
Bachelor’s degree OR
Associate’s degree or equivalent + 1 year of applicable work experience OR
High school diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable work experience
Applicable experience includes any paid or unpaid experience working with youth or families, or working in the social services field
Excellent written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Own vehicle, California driver’s license and insurance.
Clearance of TB test, fingerprints and any other mandatory state/federal requirements.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.
PREFERRED:
Bilingual in Spanish/English.

Benefits:
Starting at $20.60 - $23.10 per hour.
Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam.
Salary increases each year.
5 weeks of flexible paid time off and 11 paid holidays.
