As TD puts career development at the forefront of our colleague experience, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Line Of BusinessData & AnalyticsJob DescriptionResponsible for contributing to strategic technical planning and identifies opportunities to support Fraud detection and prevention business strategy. They are responsible for managing the fraud model inventory, ensuring compliance, and maintaining healthy model performance. The role involves collaboration with Model Validation, Model Development, Compliance, vendors, and business units to set priorities for model lifecycle work. This includes ensuring timely completion of required documentation and efficient implementation of new models. As a subject matter expert, the coordinator understands model development, model limitations, fraud tagging, and assists in the development of model monitoring plans. The coordinator also ensures model developers have access to relevant data, reviews documentation for accuracy, and assists in resolving issues and conducting root cause analyses.A Master's Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Math, Statistics) is preferred.Depth & Scope• Acts as a subject matter expert integrating cross function understanding within their own field of specialty• Works autonomously and accountable for acting as a lead within a specialized analytics function and may provide work direction to others• Provides seasoned specialized knowledge, advice and/or guidance to various stakeholders and team members• Expert at utilizing data sources across the organization with ability to integrate data across multiple platforms• Works effectively across multiple business units with numerous stakeholders to deliver advanced analytics solutions• Scope of role may have business segment and /or enterprise impact• Generally focuses on broad range of complex issues that may span from medium long term issues (e.g. 6-12 months)Education & Experience• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate in a related discipline (e.g. Math, Statistics preferred)• Master's Degree in related disciple is preferred.• 7+ years relevant experience• Proficient PC skills including a strong competency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a variety of PC based analytical and reporting software packages.• Experience making complex and broad predictions based on a vast amount of past and/or present data through the development of statistical and/or mathematical models• Strong analytical and program solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusions• Excellent written and verbal communications skillsWho We AreTD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
