About the Role

An opportunity is available to join DAS42 as a consulting Team Lead. The Team Lead will interface with the business Project Manager(s) as well as clients, and direct the technical teams to complete client engagements. This person will be a key member of our technical consulting staff and will be required to build and manage successful teams. This position will report to a Principal Consultant.

What You'll Do

Manage technical teams of up to 4-6 people
Delegate work to associates across concurrent engagements
Design technical solutions to meet client business objectives
Have a deep knowledge of and ability to coach/teach some combination of the DAS42 data stack (SQL, Python, Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
Resolve technical roadblocks independently and with Account Leads
Communicate the what, why, and how with client business and technical stakeholders in coordination with senior leadership
Ensure quality of deliverables
Assign staff with appropriate skill sets in associate and junior consultants to projects in conjunction with the project manager
Perform employee reviews and performance assessments on a project basis
Serve as a mentor and coach to associate and junior consultants
75% of time related to project work (3 projects or less) and 25% of time related to people management

What We're Looking For

3-5 years proven track-record of execution in a fast-moving, fast-growing environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, Looker, Tableau, etc.
Experience with data pipeline technology (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, & Azure)
Ability to build relationships both internally and externally
Experience managing staff, ideally in a technology or engineering environment
Experience in a consulting environment of client-facing role strongly desired
A passion for technology and for helping companies solve business problems with data
BA/BS degree required, ideally in a quantitatively oriented degree (e.g. Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics) from a top-tier school
Advanced degree a plus, but not required

More about the position:

Anticipated Travel: 25%-50%
Location: Denver, NYC, Seattle, LA or Remote
Base Salary Range: $105k-$155k
