Team Lead - Configuration

The Configuration Team Lead works with management to coordinate assignments, tasks and projects. This position is responsible to review, quality control and ensure successful deployments of work assignments assigned to the analysts for the applications supporting CDPHP’s core processes and functions. This position will be called upon to be the configuration department lead for company projects, making sound decisions which aligns with the department’s configuration framework. The Configuration Team Lead will be responsible for the identification and implementation of process improvements and innovations to gain efficiencies and improve quality within their team and the department.

This configuration team lead is a technical position that will focus on provider data and processes. The team lead will work with management, project managers, and other partners to review requirements, identify appropriate solutions, coordinate assignments and timelines, and ensure Quality of work. The team lead identifies and implements process improvements and innovations to gain efficiencies and improve the quality of provider data that serves as the backbone of several critical business processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Four (4) years relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Minimum five (5) years configuration and business analysis experience that includes: evaluation of business procedures and problems, feasibility studies, system configuration, configuration design, preparing detailed specifications for the development of business configuration, and testing is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare programs, processes, and experience working with internal departments and external vendors is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment is required, interfacing with all levels of staff and management.
  • Experience in applying relational database concepts and techniques required.
  • Proven experience with analysis, solutioning, and implementation of enterprise-level project initiatives.
  • Experience in Cognos, mass claims adjustment, and backend table compares preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, identify, implement and monitor outcomes required.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing work priorities and a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Must have an in depth level of knowledge in healthcare in relation to supported lines of business that include; Commercial, ASO (Self-Funded, Administrative Services Only) and State and Government Programs.
  • Ability to successfully work with an application management and development team in defining system implementation, conversion and configuration strategy required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and shift priorities to meet project schedules required.
  • Must be able to critically evaluate complex workflows and develop and implement process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Proficiency in Access or SQL is required.
  • Advanced understanding of Facets data model is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills are required.


Annual salary range:
$90,000 - $125,000

CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
