Position: Business Development Manager - Water Mitigation & Rebuild
We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager. As our first sales hire, you will build out the sales function and processes and play a crucial role in driving business growth, establishing lasting relationships with clients, and promoting our water damage and restoration services in the field.
Identify and target new business opportunities in the local market to expand our client base.
Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, insurance agents, contractors, and other key stakeholders in the water damage and restoration industry.
Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of water-damaged properties to understand the extent of the damage and provide accurate estimates for restoration services.
Educate clients on our range of water damage and restoration solutions, including water extraction, drying, dehumidification, mold remediation, and structural repairs.
Prepare and present comprehensive proposals and contracts tailored to the specific needs of each client.
Collaborate closely with our operations team to ensure seamless execution of restoration projects and timely completion of work.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to water damage restoration.
Attend networking events, trade shows, and community outreach programs to promote our services and build brand awareness.
Achieve and exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in the water damage and restoration industry or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of our services effectively.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while meeting deadlines and sales targets.
Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer skills for sales reporting and communication purposes.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the designated sales territory.
