Senior Backend Engineer

The Role:

We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing Tech Holding family. You will work alongside a team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our web applications. The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Node, PostgreSQL, and GCP. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and work on bug fixing and improving application performance. The Backend Engineer will also participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and unit test coverage.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and backend development using Node.js
• Experience building REST APIs with Node - NestJS
• Experience with ORMs like Prisma or Knex
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
• Experience with cloud platforms preferably GCP
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines like Github Actions or CircleCI
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in high-traffic e-commerce web apps
