Detailed JD of Senior SQL Developer with Data warehousing Experience• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.• Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data models and database structures.• Conduct thorough testing and validation of data solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, implementing necessary optimizations and improvements.• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, procedures, and standards.• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior SQL developers and data engineers.Qualification• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.• 6+ years of experience in SQL development and data warehousing.• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with major database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.• In-depth understanding of data warehousing concepts, including ETL processes, data modeling, and schema design.• Experience with data integration tools and platforms (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend).• Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and database systems.• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.• Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse) is a plus.Preferred Qualification• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data visualization techniques.• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation.• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
