Responsible for the maintenance and distribution of technical product data. Co-ordinating changes to documentation defining existing Rentokil Initial products in production globally
The primary responsibility of the Technical Administrator is to take ownership of the In Life product data to ensure its integrity at a products launch through to the end of a products life.
This includes:
● Management of the technical documentation pack ensuring the content is accurate and meets the required standards..
● Maintenance of the electronic product data records, revision history and traceability.
● Work closely with the IMS Engineers supporting technical change requests. To take ownership of the Technical Data to ensure:
● Integrity of technical data, attributes and validity throughout the product life cycle.
● Completeness of technical data internally and externally.
● Processes related to document control and management are fit for purpose and to make improvements where necessary. To provide support to the Change Process in the following areas:
● Ensure change request documents are properly submitted and are as complete as practicable.
● Ensure change requests are processed within the necessary timescale to support the business needs.
● Arrange meetings for change reviews and create minutes.
● Arrange meetings to bring technical team together to ensure changes progress.
What you need to succeed:
● Use of PC based tools including Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Google Sheets.
● Excellent IT skills ● Knowledge of and use of PLM /PDM systems or specific knowledge an advantage Person Profile
● Excellent organisation skills.
● Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret data from different sources
● Excellent communication and relationship building skills, capable of working effectively with colleagues and suppliers around the globe.
● Able to prioritise, manage timelines and stakeholder expectations.
● Flexible and proactive.
● Good attention to detail.
Relevant Qualifications & Experience
● Experience controlling critical company documentation and following document control procedures.
● Familiarity with project management.
● Experience or good knowledge of documentation relating to hardware products through the devices lifecycle (i.e. Engineering Bill of materials, specifications, CAD etc….)
