Technical Delivery Director

Your Mission‍‍

As our Technical Delivery Director, you'll be accountable for the successful delivery of Bud’s services to a B2B audience.

What impact will you make?

  • You’ll oversee a team of Technical Delivery specialists who work closely with Bud's clients, defining and mapping solution architecture and translating those requirements into plans for Bud's teams to deliver against.
  • Understand Bud’s primary drivers of value and align the objectives, KPIs and operating model of the Technical Delivery function in line with those drivers
  • You will facilitate the identification of data-driven improvement opportunities, as well as promote and engage key stakeholders in the implementation of best practices and improvement across the organisation for how we deliver technology to clients
  • Solve complex, ambiguous business, change, and technology problems, bringing structure and rigorous analysis and planning; acting and making judgements with little management oversight
  • Overseeing technical integration timelines across Bud’s portfolio of clients, liaising with Bud’s internal Product teams and Clients to ensure the successful delivery against timelines
  • Play a pivotal role in conducting cross-functional technical operations across architecture, product, partnerships, security, risk, compliance, data privacy, and more

A bit about you

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar technical delivery or technical programme management role in a credible Financial Institution, Fintech or Consultancy
  • Able to thrive in a scale-up environment, managing multiple priorities and ambiguous problems with minimal oversight
  • Experience in SaaS API and Client Delivery is preferred
  • Resourceful finds practical solutions; hands-on and gets things done well and quickly
  • Good listener and communicator, able to manage senior stakeholders and people from different departments to be on the same page and work effectively
  • Has excellent judgement in identifying problems, making trade-off decisions under pressure and proactively stops risks from becoming issues
  • Calm under pressure and able to rally people to get escalating issues under control
  • Customer-obsessed; thinks instinctively from the customer’s perspective and able to factor the customer experience into decision making

We also give everyone two days of paid volunteering leave per year, to spend time on projects and initiatives that matter to you.

We’ll get you all set up to work effectively and comfortably from Day 1 with an Apple laptop and any additional equipment you might need to work remotely.
