Technical Product Manager - Sales & Finance


The Technical Product Manager – Sales and Finance
will be accountable for building and maintaining relationships with business partners, and prioritization and delivery of medium to large scale technology projects. Responsibilities include understanding business needs, prioritization against business strategies and goals, providing input into solution design, working with internal and external technology partners, and delivery of solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with business partners to define vision, strategy, priorities, and multi-year product roadmaps
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected and integrated solutions
  • Perform or lead business analysis activities by conducting workshops, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
  • Work closely with technology partners - including software providers and consultants - to implement new solutions
  • Help establish and standardize IT processes and methodology in the spirit of continuous improvement
  • Create or lead the development of test plans. Lead thorough unit & system testing, coordinates and advises business user acceptance testing as appropriate
  • Provides detailed implementation support for assigned projects and supported applications, including coordinating cutover, conversion, and integration testing
  • Provides ongoing technical and business-process support for enterprise applications
  • Creates Project Charters, Requirements Documentation, Project Plans, Key Decision Documents, as needed to support technology projects
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science or related degree, and 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner for Sales and Finance Applications
  • 5+ years of experience participating in technology solutions delivery
  • Experience supporting or implementing B2B e-commerce applications – including system integrations with other applications (ERP, CRM, etc.)
  • Experience supporting or implementing ERP systems – G/L, A/R, A/P
  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools, e.g., Tableau preferred

  • Understanding of key business processes and data flows
  • Understanding of System/Application Development Life Cycle and software implementation methodologies
  • Ability to hold yourself and others accountable to commitments
  • Strong business acumen and ability to see the company holistically
  • Confirmed ability to collaborate up, down and across the organizations to deliver solutions that are scalable and balanced
  • Obsession with crafting clarity and keeping all team members aligned
