What you will do:

  • Gather requirements from various stakeholders, convert them to technical specifications where needed, articulate those requirements into stories, prioritize them in collaboration with DevOps Manager / Build and Release Engineering Manager / Engineering Manager.
  • Provide precise specifications, success criteria, and intended software product development scope. Ensure on-time delivery of the final product, and take a hands-on approach to program management throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure the prioritized requirements are committed, communicated, and delivered on the agreed-upon timeline.
  • Lead/facilitate technical discussions and articulate, document, communicate proposed solutions.
  • Lead, coordinate cross-functional programs with multiple products and engineering teams, and develop an end-to-end project plan. Draft, communicate, and come up with milestones timelines.
  • Lead Quarterly commits for Devops and Build and release engineering team.
  • Work closely with critical IT, DevOps, Security, Software development, product management, and senior leadership to define and drive product requirements and execution strategies.
  • Anticipate and plan around execution bottlenecks, escalate effectively, recommend and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs and technical constraints.
  • Break large, complex programs into manageable, demonstrable pieces and promptly orchestrate their incremental delivery across multiple teams.
  • Apply high judgment, practical negotiation skills, and influence across team boundaries to deliver customer value.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and change control.
  • Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity and scope. Use technical judgment to build consensus, schedule, plans, execution, and communicate status to the stakeholders.

What you need to succeed:

  • Prefer experience with AWS Cloud, CI/CD, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Github, Salt stack
  • Adept at creating dashboards in Jira and skilled at using Confluence
  • Big4 experience is a plus.

How you will stand out from the crowd:

  • Adept at driving programs, has a can-do attitude, and can own problems and take responsibility for solving those.
  • Open and appreciative of candid feedback.
  • 5+ years’ Experience in project/program management.
  • Bachelors or Masters in technical discipline Maths, Stats, Computer Science, Engineering.
  • Eight years of Experience working with technical subjects and emerging technologies in Cloud or related technical fields.
  • Experience working in a startup environment. Can thrive in ambiguity and bring order to chaos.
  • Strong leadership skills; Able to independently navigate, influence, and resolve conflicts with others.
  • Self Starter, able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexible in collaborating across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence, clarity, and focus. Able to convey concepts and considerations to business and technical folks.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 – $145,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
