Brightline is on a mission to build a bright future for every child, bringing extraordinary behavioral health care to children and families.
We're in the middle of a behavioral health crisis that we can't ignore—especially not when it comes to our children. 1 in every 5 children has a behavioral health condition, yet up to 80% still get little or no help. Far too many families face insurmountable barriers when their child really needs help, and parents are too often left feeling alone and without the support they need. We can do so much better. That's why we're here!
When you join Brightline, you're joining a team that has an unstoppable drive to change the lives of families across the country. We're a team of thoughtful problem-solvers, expert and kind clinicians, and experienced operators and technologists. Above all, we're committed to helping each other succeed, learn, and grow—all while bringing care to families when, where, and how they need it.
No matter what you're looking for in your next role, we're pretty confident that you'll #FindItAtBrightline.
As the first technical program manager at Brightline, here's what your day-to-day activities might look like:
- Lead the strategy and implementation of Brightline's data ingestion, in collaboration with product, engineering and client success.
- Work directly with existing and prospect clients to define a scalable approach to receiving data files and leveraging the data internally to meet critical functions for our members.
- Learn and configure Brightline systems to implement upcoming clients.
- Collaborate with Brightline's Data Science team and our clients, to understand the downstream impacts and opportunities based on the data we are receiving.
- Provide the first line of support to the client success team to define the standards of our client integrations, share them with the client, and evolve those as we learn more. As needed, troubleshoot technical issues with clients
And here are the kinds of projects you might work on in your first few months:
- Define and operationalize the process, tools, and roles for the successful intake of external data across Brightline.
- Work with client success and engineering to set standards for eligibility file fields/matching strategy, marketing file fields, and customer launch requirements.
- Model and set the standard for the technical program management function at Brightline. We know we will be able to serve more families and have a deeper impact by having someone like you in our technical organization, and it is up to you to guide us on what the right role for this function should evolve to.
- You are a system's thinker that is excited about making complex processes a simple conversation.
- You tend to be considered "technical" by most of your peers, including engineers (even though you likely haven't written software code yourself)
- You have experience analyzing data and identifying gaps and opportunities.
- You tend to bring order to chaos by actively listening, validating, and distributing information across very different teams. This comes natural to you since most problems won't make it past you without some sort of next step.
- You are comfortable working with clients through unknowns and leaning into your soft skills to get through a fairly technical problem.
- You are both a coach and a player; and don't mind the level of detailed work that you might get into as a contributor to the company.
- You've worked in similar healthcare technology companies where eligibility file, marketing files, and data warehouse feels like familiar phrases.
Bonus points for experience with:
- You've done this before, but miss the opportunities that come from building this function from scratch – with the benefit of hindsight.
- Remote first and focused on community—we have Bright Spots with employees across the country (check out more info below) + generous work-from-home stipend
- Competitive compensation & benefits packages because we know the work you do is hard and we recognize how valuable you are, including an unlimited PTO policy + 14 paid holidays, Health, Vision, Dental, 401k, and stock options
- Collaborate with diverse members across teams with weekly group learning opportunities and team breakfasts (and offsite retreats in the future!)
- Dedicated time for your health and wellness, including group workouts and meditations hosted by Brightline employees
- With your help, we'll build diverse & equitable programs and experiences
