Job Summary

NetApp is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Technical Sales Specialist with a passion
for facilitating our customers' Digital Transformation journeys. This role focuses on NetApp's cutting-edge
solutions designed to address the unique needs of AI/ML workloads. If you are intrigued by the
possibilities that AI and ML can unlock and are excited to help customers realize these possibilities using
NetApp Solutions, this role is for you.

THIS ROLE IS OPEN TO CANDIDATES IN THE WESTERN UNITED STATES

Responsibilities:
Deeply understand customer business requirements and challenges to provide solutions tailored
to AI or ML development environments. By leveraging NetApp's robust storage solutions, you will
enable customers to manage, store, and process vast amounts of data efficiently, facilitating
high-performance AI and ML models.
Utilize your expert technical knowledge to guide customers towards optimal storage solutions for
their AI/ML workloads.
Leverage deep value selling skills to articulate the advantage of NetApp's cutting-edge
technology, including enhanced data management, speed, scalability, and security features that
particularly benefit AI and ML development and deployment.
Enhance AI/ML Workload opportunity generation through various avenues. This includes
accelerating existing pipeline progress by showcasing how NetApp's storage solutions can
dramatically improve the efficiency and effectiveness of AI/ML operations.
You will also work with sales and marketing-generated leads, leverage propensity data, and
collaborate with specialist partners to uncover opportunities where AI/ML initiatives can benefit
from NetApp's storage offerings.
Lead and manage complex AI/ML opportunities within assigned territory. You will provide
comprehensive solutions to prospects and customers, integrating NetApp's advanced storage
solutions with their AI/ML projects. This role includes teaming with NetApp Partners, sellers,
architects, and business units, showcasing how NetApp’s data storage solutions can simplify
data management and accelerate insights for AI/ML workloads.
Your key responsibility will be ensuring that NetApp’s data storage solutions are expertly matched
to the AI/ML needs of our customers. By doing this, you'll help them extract maximum value from
their data, speeding up innovation, and providing them with a competitive edge.

Job Requirements

7+ years of technical solution selling experience in a technology field related to AI/ML or data
storage is required.
Proven track record of leading multi-million-dollar customer selling campaigns.
Strong understanding of AI/ML development environments, and the willingness to continuously
learn and adapt in this dynamic field.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate, present
and communicate across all levels of an organization, from end users to executive management.
Exceptional team player with a proven ability to thrive in a team selling environment and
collaborate effectively.
Driven to exceed targets, with world-class operational hygiene.
The successful candidate will have the ambition to transform an understanding of AI/ML
workloads into expertise, strategically matching NetApp's comprehensive solutions to the
business problems presented. Your primary role will be to ensure that our AI/ML solutions
perfectly address our customers' needs, helping them to realize their full potential.

USA Residents Only:
The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is 160,000 – 180,000. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
