Technical Success Engineer

The Opportunity:

The Technical Success team is a core piece to DataGrail's customer success organization. We are holistically responsible for solving urgent problems and teaching customers about the intricacies of our product to set them up for success in maintaining privacy compliance and automating their process.

Come join this team for a unique opportunity to help us build out the future of Technical Success and define how we interact with customers and improve their overall experience with our product. Ambiguity isn't something we shy away from and view it as an opportunity to improve our processes for the progression of our business.


The Skill Set:

  • Provide world class support by leveraging technical analysis and communication for a range of challenges our customers might face.
  • Quickly and effectively read through our code base and be able to identify and flag inaccuracies and bugs
  • Translate highly technical concepts into digestible business language via Zendesk and virtual/phone conversations.
  • Solve customer problems at scale, regardless of the issue
  • Prioritize asks cross-functionally with customer success, product, and engineering, based on highest value add for customers.
  • Curate content for the DataGrail Help Center, including product documentation.

Within 90 Days You'll:

  • Get to know DataGrail and our product offerings
  • Familiarize yourself with cross-functional teams you will actively engage with on a regular basis
  • Own external and internal facing tickets and creatively solution a variety of customer specific challenges with support and guidance from teammates

Within 180 Days You'll:

  • Have in-depth knowledge of our product and be the product expert for our customers
  • Own external and internal facing tickets and creatively solution a variety of customer specific challenges with minimal support
  • Be thinking of process improvements to help better support our customers
  • Contribute documentation to our Help Center for internal and external customers

Within 365 Days You'll:

  • You are the expert and go-to for all DataGrail product related questions for our customers
  • You have contributed to process iterations within the team
  • You're mentoring and helping develop new members of the team
  • You're taking on more technical responsibility and partnering with engineering to debug
