Mendix is looking for a Technical Success Manager (TSM) to join our North American team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to a number of our strategic customer accounts, providing personalized and proactive guidance on the use of our software and leading comprehensive low-code platform. You will gain an understanding of the IT infrastructure, internal processes, business needs & drivers, and team members within these accounts. As a TSM, you will adapt your knowledge and support to each of our customers' environments, facilitate collaboration between teams within Mendix and the customer, and advocate on behalf of the customers' needs. If you are a problem solver, have a well-rounded, broad IT/Development background, are inquisitive by nature and if you are driven to make your customers' successful, this may be the role for you!
An ideal candidate for the TSM role should be a very experienced and well-rounded IT professional. As Mendix is a software platform provided to customers enabling rapid development, having high code experience and/or software lifecycle development management is extremely useful. However, other skillsets are required to make a successful TSM. Some combination of the following areas of knowledge/expertise will be required:

Define, document, and work on proactive strategies supported by account teams, Product / R&D, and services to drive adoption and expansion

Maintain a regular cadence with the customer to drive technical initiatives aligned to the defined strategies

Own the customer's technology mapping as it relates to human resources, processes, and tools

Proactively build relationships with customers to achieve loyalty
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal groups (Presales, Sales, Support, Customer Success, R&D/Product, Professional Services)

Liaison with R&D to drive platform enhancements that may prevent adoption and/or expansions

Stay up-to-date and be able to judiciously report on roadmap and strategies; especially those pertinent to defined customer base

Learn the platform, best practices, and stay updates on latest releases and capabilities

Meet with customers, remote and in-person, when necessary for enablement, adoption, and problem solving

Provide guidance to CSMs on how best to direct technical issues

Development experience preferred

7+ years diverse IT experience including, not limited to development, consulting, pre-sales, engineering, etc…

Ability to manage and grow enterprise customer relationships

Customer-minded, always trying to provide the most value possible

Ability to explain complex information to customers clearly and concisely

Passionate about building long term and lasting relationships

A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
$150,000 - $250,000 a year
