Accounting Co-Op Internship

Job PurposeThe Accounting Co-op Program prepares college students for potential full-time employment in the business upon graduation through exposure to accounting and reporting functions within the organization. Guided by a manager and mentor throughout the school year, students will work on value-add projects with tangible objectives which may include technical training, office environments, and finance and accounting operations. Students will also have opportunities to network, participate in teambuilding events, and develop professional skills.Job Description• Position duties may include preparing financial reports• Performing accounting and financial analysis• Preparation of account reconcilements• Monitoring and analyzing financial variances,• Assisting with SEC filings• Supporting audit• Assisting with documentation• Participating in digitalization and automation initiatives and ensuring effective communication both internally and externally where appropriate.You are meant for this job if:• Current undergraduate or graduate university student• 3.0/4.0 GPA minimum• Previous experience in relevant field is a plus• Possess the eligibility to work 15-20 hours/week• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without restriction.
