5 On Your Side, KSDK-TV has an immediate opening for a Graphic Artist/Designer to join our award-winning marketing team. The perfect candidate is a master of marketing, creative and collaborative with the ability to oversee multiple projects in an audience centric, fast paced, competitive environment. The role requires a self-starter with a gift for conceptualizing and developing creative ideas. In this role you will create the overall look for the station from on-air to digital to outside media. You will work with a fantastic team of creatives to set KSDK apart from the competition. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.Responsibilities :• Design motion and still graphics for broadcast, digital social and internal projects• Design traditional print and digital assets• Develop graphics packages for marketing, lifestyle show and news content• Sharp eye for editing and design, particularly with typography and motion graphics• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to last-minute changes• Independently identify, assess, and solve problems, improve processesRequirements:• Minimum 5 years of experience in broadcast or agency work with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work• Excellent, written, and verbal skills as well as attention to detail• Art school or degree in art design preferred• Ability to deliver results at a high level under tight deadlines• Advance knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign and Illustrator)• Comfortable working non-traditional hours as neededBenefits:TEGNA offers comprehensive benefits designed to safeguard the physical, mental and financial health of our employees and their families.
