Staff Product Designer

As a Staff Product Designer, you are a strategic contributor within your product space, leading problem-solving across larger or more undefined product areas. You focus on the big picture to get strategic alignment and ensure a quality holistic experience that has no gaps while being responsible for translating the vision into discrete iterative deliverables. You assume responsibility for design quality of your area and surrounding areas by maintaining and improving our defined, transparent design process, and by seeking out new processes, techniques and tools, to provide recommendations back to Design.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver world-class UX and cohesive experiences across our core product domains.
  • Enable cross-channel strategic direction through future visions and senior leadership coordination.
  • Ensure and elevate design craft and execution across the Design Team by shaping team best practices, rituals, and techniques.
  • Define and articulate viable compelling visions for future offerings to inform product and business strategy through research and design efforts.
  • Develop new user-centered practices that drive increased value and appreciation of design both internally and externally.
  • Uncover key user insights that lead to innovative design solutions by developing a thorough understanding of our customers through quantitative and qualitative data and research.
  • Build consensus across diverse teams through effective communication and facilitation techniques to solicit feedback from peers, partners, and leadership.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience designing digital products.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in design, computer science, information sciences, psychology, human factors, or human-computer interaction preferred.
  • Professional portfolio of product-focused design work demonstrating your intentional design decisions, thoughtfulness of your process, and the breadth of your skills.
  • Expert proficiency in interaction design, information architecture, and at least one more UX competency: user research, visual design, or service design.
  • Expert proficiency using design tools such as Figma, and design systems.
  • Strong track record of achieving success at scale in Consumer and/or B2B products.
