Accounts Receivable Specialist - job 2 of 2

Description:The Accounts Receivable Account Specialist position is a key customer service and internal support role responsible for being a mentor and partner to other Accounts Receivable Specialists, as well as taking on more complex customer accounting work.• Accounts Receivable Account Specialist will work on and manage specific customer accounts to collect and post on past due payments. (looking for someone who has commercial/company account collections vs individual consumer collections).• Run and format daily queries using multiple company-specific software/applications to show productivity increase/decrease on customer aging reports• Create and provide an account balance spreadsheet with specialized reporting parameters• Liaison between assigned customers and internal departments to resolve billing issues and process conflicts• Discuss invoice discrepancies/errors with billing and operations departments to form corrective action plans• Ensure all work performed on customers' accounts is notated daily and updated in the financial system for management to review if needed• Be a resource to Accounts Receivable Account Specialist with questions about processes, archived information locations, and applications• Mentor and hands-on support to Accounts Receivable Account Specialist partnered with youAdditional Skills & Qualifications:• Looking for someone who is a self-starter• 2 year of experience in Finance, Collections, or Accounts Receivable• Professional communication via phone and email• Intermediate working knowledge of all Microsoft software applications, specifically Excel formulas and formatting (needs someone with Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPS)• Oracle knowledge is a plus• Transportation or Logistics collections experience is a plusAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
