Ability to provide Writing examplesDescription:Key job responsibilitiesAs an Editor/Product Content Specialist, you will be the subject matter expert for how a conversational Shopping Assistant should respond to customers in a helpful, truthful, and actionable way. You will review and supervise the Large Language Model’s (LLM’s) output and monitor key metrics to ensure that it delivers a high-quality customer experience for various types of conversations while meeting business objectives.A day in the life• Curate training data through purpose-built tools to feed into LLMs.• Review and supervise the output of the LLM to ensure it meets a high bar.• Review internal and external customer feedback to enhance the LLM’s output.Can you give me a little detail about your team culture?It’s organized like a Publishing House. We are learning as we go as a team. We have an Editor and Chief, who sets the overall style, tone, general guidelines, and policies of our Shopping Assistant as well as defining various workflows. Underneath the Editor and Chief, we have Managing Editors. Managing Editors will be mapped to cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Science, Design, Product Management). They work closely with those stakeholders, designing specific workflows to meet internal customer needs. Underneath them will be a team of content specialists, who will output what’s necessary for these workflows through grading model output, annotating/labeling training data into models, and, sometimes, writing training data to improve the model itself. They will do this based off the policies, guidelines, style guides and work flows that we as a team use.This is still a new team and we are in the process of hiring Managing Editors and identifying lasting workflows. It’s an established team as far as the culture.Reason/motivation for request: Required for the project to enable the LLM to have meaningful and engaging conversations. Build up team of content specialists.Interaction with team/Day to Day:• Working within 2 pizza teams (6 individuals) with a team lead.• Each person gets assignments (annotation/labeling, grading, editing, writing short-form copy• Take the assignment and look at the policies, style guide, tone requirements, etc. and write the demonstration data. This could be long or short form.• They will take that output and we will define a workflow that allows them to programmatically submit to our science team• The pipelines will be constructed by this teamPERFORMANCE METRICS:• Will be measured against the leadership principles that we have as a company• How they performance against the tasks that we put in front of them.
