May supervise others."Cyber Engineer/Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to be a part of our team at Hanscom AFB, MA. Team is based in MA, but this position can be worked remotely throughout the US.As a member of the team, you'll be providing cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) support to a test and integration lab that supports automated deployment of secure environments for application development and testing.The test and integration lab is part of a greater project to provide key design, installation, and research support to successfully implement a DevSecOps pipeline meant to allow greater collaboration with our customer community and application developers. This project is on the forefront of new technologies and concepts including zero trust architecture and multi-level security, and SAIC will design, build, and test systems meant to enable application development for our customer community.• Key Duties/Responsibilities:• With a team, properly configure operating systems and devices according to DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Requirements Guides (SRGs), and vendor best practices on a hyperconverged infrastructure.• Scan systems using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scanning and remediate findings.• Provide software architecture, systems engineering, security verification and validation.• Develop evidence and artifacts in accordance with NIST SP 800-53 rev5 and JSIG standards to support a RMF authorization to operation (ATO) decision.• Assist with developing and maintaining interconnection security agreements with external networks.• Develop and implement continuous monitoring strategy to maintain a continuous ATO.• Analyze proposed system, network, and software designs for potential vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigations and/or countermeasures.Project LeadershipOversee the delivery of multiple web development projects from conception to deployment.Ensure that technical solutions align with the business objectives and established architectural guidelines.Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability applications using a full-stack development approach.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Implement front-end interfaces and experiences with modern HTML/CSS/JS, with a focus on responsive design and web standards using React.js.Develop server-side logic and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js or similar frameworks.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.Stay informed about new technologies and techniques in full-stack development and share knowledge with the team.Technical GuidanceProvide expert guidance in Node.js and React best practices.Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends, introducing them when appropriate to the team.Mentoring And Team BuildingFoster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.Mentor team members, providing guidance and support for their career growth.Code QualityUphold and enforce high standards of code quality through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices.Security PracticesEnsure the implementation of secure coding practices and maintain compliance with security protocols.Stakeholder CommunicationEffectively communicate project statuses, proposals, and technical solutions to stakeholders and non-technical team members."Skillsaws, azure, CMMC, IAM, cloud securityTop Skills Detailsaws,azure,CMMC,IAM,cloud securityAdditional Skills & QualificationsDevelop and coordinate on IATT & ATO from start to approvalExperience in special access Program environmentsIdeal candidate is located near one of these locations DC, Wright-Patterson AFB (Ohio) or Hanscom AFB (MA)Additional Benefits Infoo Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
