Description:https://www.ktjlaw.com/about-us/ A full-service law firm, where their lawyers serve in the role of general counsel as well as support a wide variety of specialty services or projects for numerous Illinois cities, towns, and villages.This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of issue resolution and projects. KTJLAW has multiple vendors who they lean on technology implementation and support, but they need a go-to person for all day-to-day technical issue resolution and someone who will drive these projects.Law firm size: 60 end users, they would be a point of contact for all technical issues, partner with the IT Manager and 3rd party consultants to provide complete issue resolution.Main office: 120 S LaSalle st, ste 1710Additional Locations: Chicago, Orland Park, Westmont, Streator, Vernon HillsSchedule: 8:30-5pm M-F, onsite. After hours remote support would only be on as needed basis (ex: unexpected outage)Technical responsibilities:• Act as the main point of contact for all IT related issues and owning complete technical issue resolution.• Troubleshooting Windows OS, O365• Active Directory – onboarding users, passwords, distribution lists, managing security groups.• Requests will vary between calls, emails and walk-ups.• Ticketing system: no enterprise tool, but they use MSP dashboard to create tickets.• Collaboration tools: Zoom• Experience working with Cloud technologies (ex: Azure AD)• Experience supporting 3rd party software and Collaboration with 3rd party vendors to provide issue resolution.• Experience owning projects (ex: software/hardware roll out, upgrades etc)• Provide end user training• Research new tools/technologies as needed to help address business needs.• Network connectivity troubleshooting.End User Adoption:• Capture and maintain KB articles• Research and recommend Training Courses• Seeking for training/upskilling opportunitiesSoftware most commonly used by the end users:• iManage (is software used commonly by law firms to manage documents and emails more efficiently and securely. KTJ uses it for file storage and sharing, they just migrated to cloud version of iManage.• ProLaw Elite is reporting and business intelligence tool that enables law firms analyze the data more efficiently. KTJ uses this platform to track and manage their billing.
