Description:C-FORWARD, INC.Network AdministratorThe Network Admin – has the primary responsibility for addressing service requests onsite including (but not limited to) providing ongoing computer support by troubleshooting hardware and software problems, installing hardware and software, acting as the company’s representative with partners and vendors, and providing research on a variety of technical support solutions.Excellent communication skills are required. Having an aptitude for managing duties under limited supervision and an attention to detail needed. This role requires a high level of professionalism; have strong organization skills, and a mature and positive attitude.Essential Functions:• Assists clients with computer issues as they occur• Maintains network security, user accounts, permissions, and overall functionality• Installs computer equipment and software• Updates tickets accurately and in a timely manner• Other responsibilities as assigned• This positions reports to the Technical Services Manager• "must be able to lift 50 lbs" or "frequently moves boxes weighing up to 50 lbs".Qualifications & Experience• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and oral communication with clients and personnel• Self-motivated, and results-oriented• Work is performed through intermittent standing, sitting, or stooping• Ability to troubleshoot routine hardware and software issues• Considerable knowledge of Windows driven software, hardware, networks, etc.• Ability to assess user needs and develop and implement appropriate solutions• Knowledge of the variety and application of personal computers and peripheral equipment• Considerable knowledge of computer systems and of office automation/data sharing and computer hardware and software applications• Knowledge of local area networks (LANs); ability to assist in the installation of local area networks (LANs) and to install and operate a variety of network related software programs; ability to operate a network server• Ability to meet project deadlines and to conduct tasks in a timely fashion• Ability to effectively and efficiently assist in training individuals and groups having minimal computer skills• Ability to continually learn and keep current on technological skills• High school diploma/GED or equivalent, two or four year college degree• Microsoft certifications or related experience in a professional environmentSkills:Network engineering, Firewall, Router, Troubleshooting, Support, Cisco routers, Switches, dell servers, dell workstations, wireless access pointAdditional Skills & Qualifications:MSP experience is nice to have.Experience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
