Monday-Friday (8:00am-6:00pm)Competitive Pay - $25.00 an hourExpedited Interviews – Access to additional Resume support and pre-interview questionsA day in the role…• The Accounts Receivable Specialist is accountable for daily operational tasks associated with revenue cycle accounts receivable.• The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for follow-up and timely and effectively managing requests from patients, insurance primary, secondary, and tertiary payers, and clearing houses, and prepares all appeals and resolves all upfront edits and denials. Routinely monitors and processes monthly write-offs, charge corrections and reconciliation of claim files for assigned area of responsibility• The AR Follow Up Reps are held to working at least 45 accounts per day.• The Credit Specialists are accountable for daily operational tasks associated with revenue cycle accounts receivable.• The AR Specialist is accountable for follow-up and timely and effectively managing requests from patients, insurance payers, secondary, and tertiary payers, and prepares all non-clinical appeals. Routinely monitors and processes monthly write-offs for assigned area of responsibility.• The credit specialists will analyze accounts to determine if it is a correct credit / overpayment, and will handle refund requests.Necessary Skills and Strengths:EOB Experience | Insurance Payer Knowledge | Medical Terminology | Strong Communication Skills | Rejections and Denials Interpretation | Medical AR Follow Up | Time Management Skills | Multi-Tasking | Insurance Authorizations | Insurance Payer ExperienceCore Experience:• 2+ Years of AR Follow-Up Experience• Experience within denials, EOBs, rejection queues/reports and strong appeal skills• Authorization Experience• Insurance Portal Navigation• EMR Experience (Experity is a huge plus!)About TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
