Site Reliability Engineer - job 2 of 3

TEKsystems is seeking 10+ junior to mid-level SRE candidates in the Phoenix area for a large banking client.This is a unique program in partnership with TEKsystems and the client, wherein we are seeking candidates with just 2+ years of experience to train into Sr. SREs.The program will begin with 4 weeks of intensive (paid) training, followed by an additional 5 weeks of on-the-job training (paid). After this, you will be gauranteed employment for 12 mo. with TEKsystems turning into a full time role with our banking client.Unfortunately, they are not open to any candidates who currently require visa sponsorship or will require in the future.Requirements:4 year CompSci Degree (MIIS, IT concentration, programming, etc.)- 2+ years of professional experience- Knowledge of monitoring with tools like Splunk/Dynatrace- Knowledge of DevOps concepts, such as CI/CD and cloud services- Automation experience with Ansible, Jenkins- Knowledge of server administration - Linux/Windows- 2+ years of scripting experience in Python- Working knowledge of networking, databases, and GitJob Duties:• Application reliability engineering: Develop and implement the robustness and optimal performance of applications by engineering their design, development, maintenance, and security. Implement monitoring systems and respond to incidents to maintain compliance and minimize service disruptions• Infrastructure reliability engineering: Engineers the design, management, and validation of robust infrastructure systems, utilizing cloud and network technologies. Develops comprehensive monitoring, observability, and disaster recovery plans to ensure continuous and resilient operation of services.• Performance engineering: Conducts rigorous performance testing and optimization, employing technical troubleshooting and designing software reliably. Builds software process improvement and system monitoring to analyze and enhance the overall performance and efficiency of applications and systems.• Teaming: Collaborates with cross-functional technology teams to embed SRE principles and automated solutions, enhancing operational excellence throughout the enterprise.About TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
