Together, let's empower people everywhere to live their healthiest lives.Summary of PositionAs the Senior Vice President, Chief Product Officer, reporting to the President, US Group Health, (an over $1B business unit within Teladoc Health) you will lead our Product Management Organization and will play a pivotal role in driving product innovation with a focus on digital technology, services, and clinical products with a customer focused lens. The successful candidate will ensure our offerings remain closely aligned with customer needs and market demands.Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Strategic Vision and Planning:• Develop and execute a product strategy that supports the business unit's overall objectives.• Identify market opportunities and define product vision and roadmap to drive innovation in digital tech, services, and clinical products.• Accelerate Product Innovation:• Champion the development of cutting-edge products that meet the evolving needs of customers.• Ensure continuous improvement and innovation in product offerings by staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.• Drive Product Optimization for Growth• Engage closely with customers to understand their needs and feedback.• Incorporate customer insights into product development processes to ensure high relevance and value of products.• Foster Deep Collaboration:• Work collaboratively with Commercial, Engineering, Clinical, Marketing, Operations, and other departments to ensure seamless product delivery and market success.• Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.• Ability to align various departments around a common product vision and strategy• Leadership and Development:• Lead Product Management Team, ensuring they are aligned with the growth vision and equipped with the skills needed to contribute effectively.• Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess these competencies:• Strategic Vision, Planning & Achieving Outcomes• Ability to develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals.• Proficiency in long-term planning and roadmap development.• Strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes and delivering results.• Ability to prioritize initiatives and manage resources effectively to meet deadlines and objectives• Change Management• Experience in leading organizational change in a dynamic business environment• Possess high EQ with ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization. Lead with a high degree of integrity, accountability and empathy• Leadership and Collaboration:• Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and mentor a diverse product management team.• Expertise in building high-performing teams and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.• Market and Customer Focus• Deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.• Ability to translate customer insights into actionable product strategies and features.• Product Development and Innovation• Proven track record of driving product innovation and managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch.• Expertise in agile methodologies and iterative product development.• Analytical and Technical Expertise• Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions and assess product performance.• Ability to identify and solve complex problems quickly and efficiently.• Strong understanding of digital technologies, software development processes, and technical architectures.• Ability to work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and quality of products.• Financial Acumen• Understanding of financial principles and metrics relevant to product management, including budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategies.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesYesRequired Qualifications• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.• Minimum of 15 years of experience in product development/management in healthcare, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role with B2B2 products• Mastery level domain and healthcare industry knowledge required as well as experience in digital health or health tech.• Extensive experience in clinical product development required.• Demonstrated success in leading organizational change and integrating product management within larger business frameworks.• Proven track record of successfully leading product organizations and driving product innovation.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to present complex ideas and strategies clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.• Remote position with the ability to travel as needed to Teladoc office hubs or other locationsAbout UsTeladoc Health is the global virtual care leader, offering the only comprehensive virtual care solution spanning telehealth, expert medical, and licensed platform services.
