Teleresearch Associate

General Summary:

The Teleresearch Associate is a remote position and is responsible for gathering, verifying, and updating business information within all calling campaigns. Information verification and updates include: Business name, address, phone number(s), employee size, key personnel, e-mail address, website, line of business, plus additional company demographics.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Contact companies across the country via phone to verify and gather business information by utilizing scripted guidelines.
  • Enter updates or corrections to business information in order to ensure an accurate database.
  • Maintain 99 percent accuracy rate on updates and corrections to meet company quality standards.
  • Essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation. The function is considered essential if the reason the position exists is to perform that function.

Supportive Job Functions:

  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
  • These tasks do not meet the Americans with Disabilities Act definition of essential job functions and usually equal 5% or less of time spent. However, these tasks still constitute important performance aspects of the job.
Requirements:

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate with individuals in the Company and with various business contacts outside the Company in an articulate, professional manner.
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and techniques.
  • Basic personal computer.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to enter data accurately.
  • Ability to work remotely, independently while achieving team goals.

Education, Experience, and Certification:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Call center or customer service experience preferred.
  • Minimum requirements needed to perform the job.
